Originally built by miners in 1913 as a vaudeville house, today the Sheridan Opera is Telluride's gateway to the performance arts. The opera house is located downtown, near San Juan Skyway. The cozy 241-seat Sheridan has seen performers such as Jackson Browne, Jeff Daniels, John Popper and Tim Reynolds.
